Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate a variety of financial documents such as the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report and Budget Financial Statement.
  • Examine ledger entries, reconcile discrepancies, and perform comprehensive financial evaluations.
  • Manage, execute, document, and reconcile cash and investment management operations.
  • Oversee accounts, contractual obligations, and debt service payment activities.
  • Support the coordination of auditing functions and internal reviews.
  • Facilitate vendor payments, billing processes, and payroll operations.
  • Delegate tasks, supervise, and review staff work to ensure adherence to established policies.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Document investment activities and monitor Trust assets.
  • Assist in strategizing and implementing departmental automation.
  • Complete special projects and assignments as required.

Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • In-depth understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Significant knowledge of cash management and investment operations.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, Microsoft Office Suite, payroll processing, and tax compliance.
  • Capability to generate financial reports, prioritize tasks, and oversee staff.
  • Strong technical skills coupled with effective communication abilities.

Minimum Qualifications:

A bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, or an MBA with a focus on accounting or finance. A minimum of three years of professional experience in accounting, finance, or treasury operations.

Substitution Policy:

Full-time graduate studies in accounting or finance may be considered in lieu of required experience. CPA certification may replace educational requirements.

Promotional Criteria:

  • Bachelor's degree, MBA with a concentration in accounting/finance, or CPA certification.
  • Two years of experience in relevant positions within the organization.
  • Civil service status in related classifications.
