About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team at the Naval Branch Health Clinic Everett. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a critical role in providing dental care to active duty military members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive dental hygiene services, including oral prophylaxis, periodontal treatment, and radiography.
  • Develop and implement dental hygiene treatment plans for patients, including assessment of the problem, type and extent of treatment required, and sequence of appointments to complete treatments.
  • Perform pit and fissure sealant applications, polish teeth, and apply disclosing solutions, fluorides, desensitizing agents, and other topical medications to control caries and dentinal hypersensitivity.
  • Maintain patient records in accordance with Joint Commission and Dental Treatment Facility standards.
  • Comply with applicable quality assurance standards for preventive dentistry.
  • Assist in Oral Diagnosis Sick Call, including exposing and developing periapical, bitewing, and panoral radiographs.
Requirements
  • Associates Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Dental Hygiene, depending on the program.
  • Certification in radiography as required by 42 CFR Part 75.
  • Current, full, active, and unrestricted license as a Dental Hygienist.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
  • U.S. Citizen status for access to government computer systems.
