Dental Hygienist Position

The Arora Group is seeking a highly skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team at the Naval Branch Health Clinic Everett in Everett, Washington.
As a Dental Hygienist, you will provide dental care to active duty military members, working 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with 8-hour shifts between 6:30 AM and 4:30 PM.
Responsibilities- Provide a full range of dental hygienist procedures, including oral prophylaxis, non-surgical periodontal treatment, and radiography.
- Review and complete preliminary dental examinations for new patients and oversee periodontal patient recall programs.
- Examine teeth and surrounding tissues for evidence of caries, periodontal disease, and record findings.
- Inspect head and neck, examine mouth, throat, and pharynx for evidence of disease such as oral cancer and/or soft tissue pathosis.
- Expose, develop, and interpret radiographs to identify tooth structure, periodontal support, and other abnormalities.
- Refer suspected medical conditions, hard and soft tissue abnormalities, caries, periapical and periodontal pathosis, and traumatic or suspicious lesions to the dental officer for evaluation.
- Perform pit and fissure sealant applications, develop dental hygiene treatment plans, and maintain patient records in accordance with Joint Commission and Dental Treatment Facility standards.
- Comply with applicable quality assurance standards for preventive dentistry and instruct patients in proper oral hygiene.
- Clean and maintain instruments, treat acute necrotizing ulcerative gingivitis, and assist in Oral Diagnosis Sick Call.
- Associates Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Dental Hygiene, depending on the program.
- Successful completion of a dental hygiene program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) of the American Dental Association (ADA).
- Certified in radiography as required by 42 CFR Part 75.
- Current, full, active, and unrestricted license as a Dental Hygienist.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- U.S. Citizen (for access to Gov't computer systems).
