Key Responsibilities:
  • Patient Preparation: Greet and prepare patients for dental examinations and treatments, ensuring they are comfortable and informed of the procedures.
  • Chairside Assistance: Assist the dentist during various procedures, including fillings, extractions, crowns, and surgeries by handing instruments, operating suction devices, and managing patient comfort.
  • Radiography: Take and develop dental X-rays as directed by the dentist, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and state regulations.
  • Patient Education: Provide patients with oral hygiene instructions, postoperative care guidelines, and answer any questions regarding their dental treatment and care.
Requirements:
  • Certifications: Must be a registered dental assistant.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in dental assisting techniques, radiography, use of dental instruments, and fabricating temporary crowns.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and patient care skills, ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, ability to perform sensitive tasks carefully and with precision.
