Job Overview
The Senior Supply Chain Coordinator will take full ownership of the fulfillment process for designated suppliers, collaborating closely with Global Commodity Leaders (GCLs) to implement supplier fulfillment strategies, manage supplier capacity, and enhance lead time efficiency for the assigned commodities. This role is crucial in ensuring the timely delivery of components that align with the production schedules of the factory.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assume complete responsibility for supplier fulfillment
  • Oversee capacity management, purchase order allocation, supplier relations, and fulfillment strategies to mitigate delivery risks
  • Collaborate with Global Commodity Leaders (GCLs) to execute supplier fulfillment strategies aimed at reducing product costs, optimizing inventory, and improving cash flow
  • Plan and issue Purchase Orders (POs) within lead times and secure acknowledgments from suppliers
  • Align purchase order requirements with the Master Production Schedule to avoid shortages or excess stock
  • Conduct weekly supplier reviews to ensure accuracy of promised delivery dates
  • Formulate and implement effective recovery plans as needed
  • Monitor in-transit materials to identify and resolve potential delivery challenges
  • Address issues related to engineering design modifications, cut-ins, and item master updates
  • Enhance understanding of supplier manufacturing processes, material costs, and maintain a strong focus on quality
  • Establish processes to anticipate upcoming requirements and coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, and sales to ensure timely sourcing of materials
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives in fulfillment processes for assigned commodities, focusing on cost reduction, lead time improvements, and simplification
  • Engage with cross-functional teams to develop risk mitigation strategies for new product introduction challenges concerning quality, cost, delivery, and lead time
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in sourcing, engineering, or manufacturing
Preferred Attributes:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business
  • Experience in Supply Chain Management
  • Familiarity with Oracle Purchasing systems
  • Detail-oriented approach
  • Program management experience with cross-functional teams
  • Strong interpersonal communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Proficient quantitative and analytical skills; adept in PC and database management
  • Ability to thrive under tight deadlines and adapt to changing priorities
  • Experience in international business
  • Black Belt/Green Belt certification or equivalent quality certification
  • Master's Degree in Business Administration
Compensation and Benefits:
The salary range for this position is competitive and may vary based on experience, education, and location. This role is also eligible for variable incentive compensation.
