Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Polysomnographic Sleep Technician to join our team at Community Care Physicians. As a Polysomnographic Sleep Technician, you will play a critical role in the diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Comprehensive Sleep Studies: Gather and analyze patient information, prepare and calibrate equipment, apply electrodes and sensors, and perform routine positive airway pressure (PAP) mask fitting.
  • Polysomnographic Testing and Analysis: Follow all polysomnographic procedural protocols, demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to recognize and provide age-specific care in the treatment, assessment, and education of patients.
  • Record Scoring and Data Analysis: Assist with all polysomnographic record scoring and comply with all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines, and standards regarding safety and infection control issues.
  • Confidentiality and Integrity: Maintain a high level of confidentiality and a high degree of integrity with HIPAA guidelines and patient matters.
  • DME-Cpap Equipment Set-ups: Instruct patients on Cpap set-up/use and maintenance, and complete all paperwork necessary for billing.
Requirements
  • Registered and licensed Polysomnographic Sleep Technologist
  • Ability to work 3 nights a week, 7:30PM to 7:00AM
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information
