Job Description

Turner & Townsend is seeking a seasoned Senior Construction Project Manager to lead aviation projects in Los Angeles. As a key member of our team, you will oversee the successful delivery of complex projects, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and exceptional quality.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
  • Review and analyze project status reports, identifying areas for improvement and recommending corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with project teams, stakeholders, and contractors to resolve issues and ensure project goals are met.
  • Develop and implement project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies.
  • Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring timely and cost-effective resolution.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
Requirements:
  • 15+ years of experience in construction management, with a focus on aviation projects.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time, within budget, and to exceptional quality standards.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct project teams.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in MS Project, Excel, and other project management tools.
  • Knowledge of construction laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Strong understanding of project finance, budgeting, and cost control.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Aviation and terminal experience.
  • Strong mechanical background.
  • Relevant professional licensure and/or certifications (e.g., PE, RA, CCM, AAAE, LEED, PMP, AICP).
