The Hiring NeedWe are seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Project Estimator to join the firm's Special Projects Building Division based in Los Angeles, California. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estimating commercial projects, including commercial interiors, commercial tenant improvements, commercial renovations, corporate office, tribal gaming/casino resort, aerospace, industrial/warehouse, retail, entertainment/amusement park, resort/hospitality, aviation, multifamily high-rise interiors, or other commercial special projects.
Job Responsibilities- Estimate commercial projects from start to completion, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the estimating process
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure successful project outcomes
- Collaborate with the project team to identify and mitigate potential risks and issues
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure the firm remains competitive
- Minimum of 2-3+ years' experience in construction project estimating for a full-service commercial general contractor in California
- Past experience estimating commercial special projects, including commercial interiors, commercial tenant improvements, commercial renovations, corporate office, tribal gaming/casino resort, aerospace, industrial/warehouse, retail, entertainment/amusement park, resort/hospitality, aviation, multifamily high-rise interiors, or other commercial special projects
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or Engineering or another applicable field from a U.S. accredited college or university (preferred but not necessarily required)
The successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary ranging from $110,000 to $140,000, depending on experience. The firm also offers a comprehensive benefits package, including employee stock ownership plan (ESOP), companywide annual discretionary bonus, potential sign-on bonus, companywide annual market salary adjustment, salary raise of 2-8% every year, company-provided laptop and mobile work phone, 401K retirement plan, premium health/dental/vision benefits with family coverage, tuition reimbursement program, and open vacation policy (equivalent to 3-4 weeks of vacation PTO).
