About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Assistant to join our team at LAB Labcorp Early Development Laboratories Inc. in Greenfield, Indiana. As a Research Assistant, you will play a critical role in supporting our mission to develop new, safe, and effective medicines, devices, and products that protect and save the lives of people and animals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform necropsy and histology work related to preclinical (animal research) studies.
  • Document and record key information related to studies.
  • Perform a variety of duties including external fetal examinations, tissue preparation, and histological trimming.
  • Monitor animal health and welfare in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
  • Assist in maintaining facilities for AAALAC compliance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or related field.
  • AALAS certification at the Assistant Laboratory Animal Technician level is preferred.
  • 2+ years of college in related Sciences field or prior work experience may qualify in lieu of education.
