We are seeking an experienced Industrial Health and Safety Manager to join our team at Conagra Brands. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of environmental, health, and safety programs across our manufacturing facility in Fayetteville, AR.

Job Summary
  • This is a full-time position with an estimated annual salary of $105,000-$120,000, based on experience and qualifications.
About the Role

The successful candidate will have 5+ years of industrial safety experience and 5 years of management experience. A Bachelor's degree in Industrial Hygiene, Safety Management, Environmental Health, or Environmental Health and Safety is required. Experience with OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulations is also necessary.

You will be responsible for leading the implementation of a facility-wide EHS culture through technical support, program development, and collaboration. This includes promoting an accident-free work environment by developing programs that train, monitor, and assure a safe workplace.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage all aspects of environmental, health, and safety programs.
  2. Direct environmental compliance and performance functions following government regulations, corporate compliance guidelines, and applicable environmental requirements.
  3. Ensure submittal of all environmental reports.
  4. Promote an accident-free work environment by developing programs that train, monitor, and assure a safe workplace.
  5. Deliver programs to train managers and employees in workplace safety practices.
  6. Support accident investigations and prepare accident reports required by regulatory agencies.
  7. Conduct inspections and audits in plant and at other facilities to detect existing or potential accident hazards and determine corrective or preventative measures.
  8. Facilitate the EH&S Pillar Team by active participation in the subcommittee process and being a resource for each group.
  9. Administer initial Workers Compensation functions.
  10. Guide and direct plant toward compliance of State, Federal, and local Safety and Environmental regulations.
  11. Determine and direct necessary compliance training for all individuals to assure OSHA, EPA, and Conagra training requirements.
