Behavioral Health Nurse Specialist

We are a 114-bed behavioral health facility providing services to children, adolescents, adults and seniors. Our team is passionate about delivering clinically excellent treatment in a setting that fosters long-term healing.
CompensationThe salary for this position is estimated at $10,000 per year, in addition to a $10,000 sign-on bonus. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including medical, prescription drug plan, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, vision, dental, and voluntary short-term and long-term disability coverage.
Job DescriptionThis Registered Nurse (RN) position requires assessing patients' physical and behavioral health needs, developing and implementing nursing care plans, and maintaining accurate medical records. The ideal candidate will possess a current RN license, one year of nursing experience, and CPR and de-escalation and restraint certification.
Responsibilities- Provide and coordinate care by assessing patients' physical and behavioral health needs
- Develop and implement nursing care plans
- Maintain accurate medical records and educate patients and their families about various physical and behavioral health conditions
- Must have graduated from an accredited school of nursing
- Must possess a current Registered Nurse (RN) license as required by the state of employment or be eligible to practice nursing in accordance with state requirements
- One year of nursing experience; previous psychiatric, mental, behavioral, or substance abuse nursing experience a plus
