Crisis Intervention Specialist

Position Overview:
The Crisis Support Specialist is tasked with overseeing the management of care, treatment strategies, service provision, and case oversight for our crisis stabilization and placement preservation initiatives.
This role involves the development of treatment strategies, evaluations, clinical assessments, and planning for discharge. The Crisis Support Specialist also extends assistance to individuals, families, and placements to promote behavioral stabilization and prevent disruptions.
Collaboration:
You will engage closely with the Child/Family Team to determine the necessary supports that ensure effective stabilization and ongoing stability.
Compensation:
$19 - $20.90 / hr
Work Schedule:
Tuesday - Saturday or Sunday - Thursday; flexibility to work evenings/nights

Qualifications:
Minimum requirement of a high school diploma or equivalent. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
Candidates must possess one of the following:
- A high school diploma or equivalent with at least four (4) years of full-time experience in behavioral health; OR
- A high school diploma or equivalent combined with relevant education and at least two (2) years of full-time behavioral health experience; OR
- An Associate's degree and a minimum of two (2) years of full-time behavioral health experience; OR
- A Bachelor's degree with at least one (1) year of full-time behavioral health experience.
Additional Requirements:
Must be at least 21 years of age (as per licensing standards).
Possession of a valid Arizona Driver's License and successful completion of a DMV 36-month history check.
Must pass a drug test within 24 hours of offer with negative results.
Pre-employment physical and job demand assessment required.
Current AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card with no restrictions (or eligibility to obtain with no restrictions).
Availability to attend two (2) weeks of paid new hire orientation (Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm) plus 2-3 weeks of on-the-job training.
