Clinical Nurse Specialist

At Scott County Hospital, we are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our Specialty Clinic team.
Job Summary:The Clinical Nurse Specialist will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, ensuring a consistent standard of care, and maintaining accurate documentation. This role requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:- Check patients in, take vital signs, and order doctor-ordered testing
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure proper turnover of records
- Manage medications, orders, and test results
- Participate in hospital committees and maintain established departmental policies and procedures
- Prepare written documentation as required
- LPN or RN licensure and experience in a clinical setting
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (optional)
- Excellent interpersonal skills and mature judgment
This is a full-time, part-time, or PRN position with occasional sitting, frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, lifting/carrying 10-35 pounds, and frequent reaching/grasping, twisting, pulling/pushing.
