Senior Academic Program Specialist - Operations (SOA School of Accountancy)
Location:Kennesaw, Georgia
Job Summary:Coordinate the strategic planning, establishment, implementation, and assessment of a complex academic program and interconnected projects. Oversees fiscal resources and operational logistics and administrates all aspects of the academic program or projects.
Responsibilities:- Manage the design, implementation, and execution of academic certificate programs, research projects, and additional initiatives.
- Oversee and administer the day-to-day operations and management of the designated academic programs and activities.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality programs that meet the needs of students and instructors and adjusts course content as necessary.
- Evaluate, select, and provide constructive feedback to instructors for each course offering.
- Act as the primary liaison between internal and external stakeholders regarding all aspects of program activities.
- Collaborate on and approve the development of quarterly and annual marketing strategies, identifying target audiences, determining promotional strategies, and creating marketing materials.
- Designate external locations for field experiences, internships, and alternative course delivery venues.
- Projects enrollment numbers, revenue, and expenses for each academic year, and assesses progress towards financial objectives.
- Facilitate informational sessions, webinars, public speaking engagements, and promotional events to attract new enrollments.
- Coordinate the activities of staff, instructors, and student assistants as necessary for program success.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education in a related field
Five (5) years of related experience
Preferred Qualifications:Advanced degree from an accredited institution of higher education in a related field
Program Management experience
