Job Opportunity: Pediatric Surgeon

Stanford University's Department of Surgery is seeking a highly qualified Pediatric Surgeon to join our team as a faculty member. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pediatric surgery, a passion for education and research, and excellent clinical skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality patient care in pediatric surgery
  • Teach and mentor students, residents, and fellows in pediatric surgery
  • Contribute to the development of educational programs and curricula in pediatric surgery
  • Engage in research and scholarly activity in pediatric surgery
  • Participate in departmental and institutional service activities
Requirements:
  • MD or MD/PhD degree
  • Board eligibility/certification in Pediatric Surgery
  • Preferably, Surgical Critical Care board certification
  • Strong research background and potential for securing funding
  • Excellent clinical and teaching skills
