Role Summary:
The Senior HR Partner will be responsible for possessing a profound understanding of business objectives and proactively implementing people strategies to meet them.
In close collaboration with People Operations and Centers of Excellence (COEs), this role will engage with leadership (Directors and above) to provide strategic guidance and vision for their designated business unit(s), fostering a safe and inclusive environment for our workforce.
Utilizing data-driven insights and our Employee Value Proposition, this position will concentrate on the retention and growth of our team members while simultaneously driving business outcomes.
The ideal candidate will adeptly balance competing priorities, solve problems, and engage with a diverse range of stakeholders across the organization.Key Responsibilities:
1. Contribute to and execute HR strategies that align with the organization's vision over a 1-2 year timeframe.
2. Develop and implement initiatives to optimize HR utilization effectively.
3. Influence team member behaviors to reinforce key safety and HR principles.
4. Identify and rectify risk patterns in Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and Affirmative Action (AA) using available resources.
5. Advocate for Equity, Inclusion, and Diversity (EID) initiatives.
6. Establish team member networks to facilitate feedback for corrective actions in adverse business conditions.
7. Recognize behavioral patterns that may lead to team member dissatisfaction and strategize to address them.
8. Provide coaching to support leadership (Director – SVPs) in their development and decision-making to enhance performance productivity.
9. Collaborate closely with COE and People Operations to design onboarding and orientation experiences for new hires.
10. Work with leaders to shape workforce strategies with a long-term focus, partnering with COEs and People Operations for planning and execution.
11. Manage grievances and work closely with Labor Relations COE to identify and communicate potential contract violations.
12. Lead and oversee talent evaluation and development initiatives.
13. Collaborate with Workforce Analytics to ensure that people strategies are informed by deep analytics and insights.
14. Monitor the effectiveness of programs and policies against ROI targets, adjusting as necessary based on team member experiences and business needs.
15. Partner with HR COEs to design and implement innovative programs that prepare the workforce for future challenges while addressing current business needs.
16. Support Employee Value Proposition and talent enablement process improvements by consolidating and prioritizing opportunities and providing input on potential solutions.
17. Drive process excellence and employee engagement by analyzing industry trends, insights, and technologies.
18. Foster innovation and engage peers across HR to explore methods for sustaining and enhancing organizational capabilities in the future.
Qualifications:
Education:
A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, or a related field is required. Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of higher education.
Experience: A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience is required, with supervisory experience in HR, preferably within the manufacturing or processing industry.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in standard computer skills with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Communication Skills:
This role requires the ability to communicate recommendations and influence a diverse range of team members. Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills are essential. The candidate must adapt their communication style to engage effectively with all organizational levels.
Special Skills:
Extensive knowledge in executing HR strategies and the ability to implement them at various organizational levels; Capability to drive process improvements and integration of processes, technology, and personnel through workforce shaping; Strong analytical skills to enhance efficiencies; Maintaining a high level of confidentiality.
