Account Management Specialist

We're seeking a highly skilled Account Management Specialist to join our team at Next Insurance. As an Account Manager, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional client experiences while achieving revenue targets through account retention. With a strong focus on building long-lasting relationships with clients, you will be responsible for managing a premier Property & Casualty Book of Business.
The successful candidate will have extensive industry knowledge and experience working in commercial insurance, specifically in property and casualty insurance. You will utilize your expertise to support each client throughout their policy term, ensuring seamless transactions between the client, carrier, and NEXT. Your primary objective will be to meet specific client retention goals for assigned books of business while identifying cross-sell, consolidations, and referral opportunities for existing customers.
In this role, you will initiate consultative calls to clients to assess underwriting exposure prior to policy renewal or to assist with requesting quotes for new coverage for those with gaps or non-renewals. You will provide creative plan designs to clients from current and alternate carriers during each client renewal or as requested by clients off cycle. Additionally, you will maintain and foster customer relationships, including carriers, payroll bureaus/partners, State Funds, alternative markets, to ensure prompt and efficient service to their assigned book of business.
To succeed in this role, you must have excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. A self-motivated individual who is willing to learn multiple systems and adapt to changing circumstances is essential. Strong process orientation and an interest in finding process improvements are also valued. Experience working in the insurance industry and/or a customer contact center is a plus.
A competitive salary range for this position is $58,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Benefits include a partially subsidized medical plan, fully subsidized vision/dental options, life insurance, disability insurance, 401(k), flexible paid time off, parental leave, and more.
