Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with a hardware engineering team to support the development of ground and airborne navigation products.
  • Assist in capturing and documenting technical requirements.
  • Create mechanical design artifacts and develop computer-aided design (CAD) models.
  • Support integration and verification testing in challenging military-grade environments.
  • Generate and review mechanical design documentation, including drawings, procedures, and reports.
  • Assist in transitioning products to manufacturing and provide ongoing mechanical design support.
  • Engage in design and integration efforts with various engineering disciplines, including electrical, software, systems, and test engineering as needed.

Work Environment:

This position requires full-time on-site work to facilitate consistent collaboration and meet the demands of the role.

  • Solid problem-solving capabilities.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Must have completed the sophomore year of a four-year Bachelor of Science degree program in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Familiarity with CAD software is essential.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Ability to obtain a DoD Security Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Entering the senior year of a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering program.
  • High motivation to address challenges and improve existing products.
  • Able to work effectively within a diverse team.
  • Knowledge of 3D printing techniques.
  • Familiarity with machine shop equipment.

Compensation Information:

The salary range for this full-time position is competitive and based on market pay structures. Individual salaries are determined by various factors, including business considerations, local market conditions, and candidate qualifications.
