About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at StepStone Hospitality Inc. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's maintenance systems.

Job Responsibilities

  • Maintain and distribute electricity, water, gas, and other essential services to ensure seamless operations.
  • Coordinate external contractor services in accordance with contracts, leases, and warranties.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with fire and safety regulations.
  • Promote a safe working environment by implementing and administering energy management programs.
  • Assist in developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and maintaining MSDS logs.
  • Lift, pull, and push moderate to heavy weights (minimum 20 lbs).
  • Operate various equipment, including mechanical, electrical, kitchen, and laundry machinery.
  • Foster excellent customer service skills in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum 18 years old; high school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Strong command of the English language for speaking, reading, and writing.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a dynamic environment.
  • Schedule flexibility for AM/PM shifts, weekends, and holidays.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.

Salary Information

$60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
