Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Flight Paramedic to join our team at Life Flight Network. As a Flight Paramedic, you will be responsible for providing advanced critical care to patients in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with the Flight Nurse to deliver high-quality patient care, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
  • Perform a range of procedures, including oral intubation, administration of paralytic drugs, and needle thoracostomy, as necessary.
  • Contribute to accurate and complete patient care documentation, ensuring compliance with Life Flight Network standards.
  • Assist in providing written and/or verbal patient follow-up to referring hospitals or agencies.
  • Participate in equipment retrieval and return, as well as cleaning and restocking equipment to maintain aircraft readiness.
  • Collaborate with the Flight Nurse in day-to-day operations, including inventory management, supply ordering, and equipment maintenance.
  • May compile statistical data or work on related projects as assigned by the LFN Director of Clinical Operations.
Requirements
  • Minimum five years' experience as a Paramedic, preferably in a large metropolitan area.
  • Current licensure and/or certification as a Paramedic, BLS, ACLS, PALS, PHTLS, and NRP.
  • Valid driver's license and at least three years of driving experience.
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including fixed-wing call shifts.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups.
