Position Overview

The Site Construction Manager will be tasked with:
  • Coordinating the activities of all construction subcontractors in collaboration with the main office.
  • Scheduling, overseeing, and being present for inspections conducted by relevant agencies.
  • Interpreting and understanding information from architectural, civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and landscape plans and specifications.
  • Reviewing shop drawings and reports generated by testing and inspection agencies.
  • Preparing and managing Requests for Information (RFIs).
  • Documenting daily activities through reports and progress photographs.
  • Utilizing computer systems, including Windows, Outlook, Word, and Excel, for various documentation tasks.
  • Engaging with design professionals, subcontractors, project managers, and local officials to address issues, resolve conflicts, and mitigate disputes.
  • Maintaining a clean, organized job site and enforcing safety protocols.
Qualifications for Success

The ideal candidate will possess:
  • 5-10+ years of experience in large-scale commercial construction, with a preference for luxury retail projects.
  • A comprehensive understanding of the construction process.
  • Proficiency in reviewing and interpreting all construction documents, including specifications and drawings.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with management, subcontractors, consultants, architects, vendors, and clients.
  • Self-motivation and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • A willingness to undertake various tasks to ensure timely project completion.
