The Director will be responsible for orchestrating programs and campaigns that enhance the firm's visibility in the marketplace while facilitating opportunities for attorneys to cultivate relationships with key stakeholders. This role includes indirect oversight of junior Business Development and Marketing professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and implement client-focused programs, managing all aspects of event logistics, including invitations, materials, venue coordination, and follow-up communications.
  2. Assist in managing the marketing budget for the organization.
  3. Coordinate the preparation of submissions for regional rankings, awards, and recognitions, collaborating with global practice teams.
  4. Work closely with attorneys and practice liaisons to create and maintain marketing collateral, including biographies, firm updates, and promotional materials.
  5. Support the integration and utilization of the firm's CRM system to enhance connections among attorneys, clients, and other contacts.
  6. Provide project management assistance, particularly for events, while overseeing daily operations and evaluating team outputs.
  7. Delegate tasks effectively to ensure optimal team performance.

Qualifications:

  • At least eight years of relevant experience in marketing, business development, or a related field.
  • A bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook.
  • Experience in marketing, business development, or event planning within a law firm or professional services environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership and project management capabilities.
