At Armina Health, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Orthopedic Surgery Scheduling Coordinator to join our team. This role is responsible for coordinating the scheduling of surgeries for patients with orthopedic conditions, ensuring timely and efficient scheduling processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and team members to ensure seamless surgery scheduling.
  • Manage patient files and track progress, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Provide exceptional support to patients and families, addressing concerns and issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure all necessary preparations are in place for surgeries.
  • Assist with pre-surgery and post-surgery patient education and support.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a healthcare or related field preferred.
  • Experience in patient scheduling or a related role, preferably surgery scheduling.
  • Experience in a management or supervisory role preferred.

Competencies:

  • Working knowledge of federal and state regulations impacting clinic operations, including HIPAA.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and other computer programs.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team and handle a fast-paced work environment.
