Job Overview

The Store Manager at Colada Shop oversees the day-to-day operations of a designated storefront, supporting, managing, and developing team members to exceed business goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Service
  • Ensure smooth day-to-day operations, fostering a strong work culture and upholding brand service standards.
  • Understand the Colada Shop ethos and serve as a brand ambassador, making people's lives a little sweeter.
  • Coach and guide the team to provide exceptional customer experiences.
  • Maintain brand identity in all interactions, addressing and resolving customer issues.
  • Provide ongoing feedback, establishing performance expectations and conducting performance reviews.
  • Manage hiring, including interviewing and training.
  • Manage team environment and respond to staff needs.
  • Handle payroll and scheduling, anticipating schedule changes and ensuring staffing needs are met.
  • Maintain compliance with all relevant policies, including EEO, labor, HR, wage, and food safety laws.
  • Manage staff contests, including Employee of the Quarter.
  • Operations & Sales
  • Track sales against budget, execute strategies for increasing sales, and maintain communication with the team.
  • Monitor inventory, replenish stock, and adjust pars to eliminate waste.
  • Meet financial goals, including revenue, labor cost, COGS, waste, and more.
  • Be knowledgeable about troubleshooting equipment issues and minimize external technician use.
  • Attend FOH and 1x1 meetings with the Director of Operations.
  • Update FOH binders and operational materials, maintaining daily checklists and enforcing cleanliness standards.
  • Ensure the storefront, FOH, and BOH are clean and appealing to guests.
  • Oversee menu changes and ensure proper implementation.
  • Oversee staff communication and conduct weekly meetings with AGM and Supervisors.
  • Coordinate staff trainings as required.
  • Address facilities, technical, and art requests with corresponding departments.

Requirements

  • 2 years of managerial/supervisory experience, preferably in hospitality or food service.
  • Food handler card, ABRA card, and Serve-Safe certification.
  • Strong leadership, decision-making, and multitasking skills.
  • Strong communication skills, problem-solving, and delegation abilities.
  • Passion for food, cocktails, and coffee.
  • Ability to build relationships and adapt to change.
  • Full availability, including weekends and holidays.
