Job Title: Associate Help Desk Support Specialist

Spectrum's Product and Technology team is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Associate Help Desk Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our support team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional live phone support to our employees, utilizing your technical expertise and customer service skills to resolve complex issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide live phone support to employees, employing a high degree of customer service, technical expertise, and timeliness.
  • Provide basic level remote IT assistance for problem resolution and escalate complex problems to higher tier personnel.
  • Take ownership of issues and follow through on resolutions with end-users and other pertinent IT staff.
  • Track support calls in the Help Desk ticketing system.
  • Adhere to established standards and procedures in resolving problems.
Requirements:
  • 1+ years of IT Help Desk experience.
  • 1+ years of experience troubleshooting Windows 7 & 10 operating systems.
  • 1+ years of experience with MS Office Applications and hardware platforms.
  • Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficient in MS Office suite.
  • Effective problem-solving skills, demonstrated in-depth background in Support Desk services, customer support, and logical troubleshooting.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced setting, and be self-motivated with minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university.
  • IT Industry certifications (MCSA, A+, Network+, etc.).
