This role involves overseeing the comprehensive supply chain management operations for the mobile division, concentrating on critical aspects such as supply and shipment oversight, weekly packaging processes, aging inventory control, and management of new product launches.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead weekly packaging operations to prioritize daily plans, ensuring alignment with monthly targets.
- Evaluate the current week's daily packaging schedule based on market demands and provide feedback to the planning team for necessary adjustments.
- Collaborate closely with the Global Operations Center to mitigate risks associated with production, shipment, and arrival, ensuring a steady supply for weekly targets.
- Monitor urgent shipments from factories and manage deliveries to clients, maintaining daily visibility of supplies for month-end sales.
- Oversee the management of new product launches, including:
- Coordinating supply management for launch display units based on requests from the retail operations team.
- Prioritizing packaging plans for display and first article inspection units, as well as managing postponements to meet specific SKU demands.
- Ensuring timely preparation and delivery of display and marketing units for successful launches.
- Tracking major milestones and addressing any potential risks associated with product launches.
- Updating and monitoring key milestones to mitigate risks to launch timelines.
- Supervise the inbound logistics team to manage daily bulk shipment statuses in line with packaging plans and coordinate with accounts to meet sales targets.
- Assist various teams in understanding recovery strategies from the Global Operations Center.
- Resolve complex issues requiring data analysis and identification of undefined factors, impacting overall business performance.
- Proactively identify and challenge activities that may hinder the achievement of planned objectives.
- Balance inventory across locations to prevent unnecessary production at manufacturing sites.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
- A bachelor's degree in business, operations management, supply chain, or a related field is preferred.
- 5-12 years of relevant experience.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and database management software such as SAP is essential.
- Familiarity with the Global Supply Chain Management system is advantageous.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Able to work independently or collaboratively to achieve both personal and team objectives.
