Job Summary

As a Director Supply Chain, you will be responsible for driving and improving the development of the supply base. You will oversee the material purchasing activities for SNC's largest business area, ensuring the company's material needs, planning, and production objectives are supported.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with executive management, program management, and other department managers to ensure the company's material needs are met.
  • Drive strategic directives for departmental plans and organizational priorities in supplier compliance, operations compliance, operations support, and special orders.
  • Evaluate and implement an effective Category Management strategy tailored to the Business Area's needs.
  • Ensure synergy across the BA's multiple purchasing sites.
  • Provide leadership and insight into how SNC's state-of-the-art Procurement system can be utilized to further improve your organization's performance.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field of study.
  • Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education.
  • 15+ years' experience leading complex procurement organizations.
  • Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisitions (DFAR).
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively drive significant continuous improvement.
