We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Dignity Health. As a Nurse Practitioner in Neurology and Radiation Oncology, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the Chief of Neuro Radiation Oncology and faculty to assume clinical responsibility for tasks performed within the Nurse Practitioner's scope of practice.
- Take patient histories, perform physical examinations, and perform appropriate procedures.
- Order diagnostic tests, establish diagnoses, and provide care and management for common conditions in Neuro Radiation Oncology adult patients.
- Assist in the admission, transfer, or discharge of patients from the Health Care System.
- Make referrals to specialists and community agencies as needed.
- Participate in quality assurance and quality improvement programs.
- Work within a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Masters in Nursing from an accredited program.
- At least 2 years of clinical experience in Oncology.
- Compact state or Arizona RN license.
- AZ Advance Practice Nurse license.
- National Certificate as a nurse practitioner in the area of specialty under AZ regulations.
- Valid DEA registration.
- American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certification.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification.
