Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our Neurology Radiation Oncology team at Dignity Health. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in oncology and experience working in a multidisciplinary team environment.

The Nurse Practitioner will work closely with the Chief of Neuro Radiation Oncology and faculty to provide high-quality patient care, including taking patient histories, performing physical examinations, and ordering diagnostic tests. The successful candidate will also participate in quality assurance and quality improvement programs, and work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.

The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Nursing, be a graduate of an accredited program for Nurse Practitioners, and have at least 2 years of clinical experience in oncology. They will also be required to hold a Compact state or Arizona RN license, an Arizona Advance Practice Nurse license, and a National Certificate as a Nurse Practitioner in the area of specialty.

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $51.55 - $86.79 and a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a matching retirement plan and paid vacation time.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Chief of Neuro Radiation Oncology and faculty to provide high-quality patient care
  • Participate in quality assurance and quality improvement programs
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
Qualifications

MINIMUM

Masters in Nursing, graduate of accredited program for NP

2 years, clinical experience in Oncology

REQUIRED:
1. Compact state or Arizona RN license (RN),
2. Arizona Advance Practice Nurse license (LIC APN),
3. National Certificate as an nurse practitioner in area of specialty under AZ regulations:
a. CT NP-AACN,
b. CT NP-AANP,
c. CT NP-ANCC, or
d. CT NP-PNCB,
4. Valid DEA registration (DEA),
5. American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (CT ACLS), and
6. American Heart Association Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider (CT CPRBLS)
