Nurse Practitioner Neurology Radiation Oncology Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our Neurology Radiation Oncology team at Dignity Health. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our physicians and staff to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Assume clinical responsibility for tasks performed within the Nurse Practitioner's scope of practice, in collaboration with the Chief of Neuro Radiation Oncology and faculty.
- Take patient histories, perform physical examinations, and establish diagnoses and provide care and management for common conditions in Neuro Radiation Oncology adult patients.
- Participate in quality assurance and quality improvement programs, and work within a multidisciplinary team to develop and execute patient plans.
- Attend Neuro Radiation Oncology chart rounds, team meetings, conferences, and lectures as requested by and/or approved by the Chief of Neuro Radiation Oncology.
- See patients and prepare appropriate notes for the EMR under the general supervision of Neuro Radiation Oncology attending physicians.
- Masters in Nursing, graduate of an accredited program for NP.
- 2 years of clinical experience in Oncology.
- Compact state or Arizona RN license (RN), Arizona Advance Practice Nurse license (LIC APN), and National Certificate as an nurse practitioner in area of specialty under AZ regulations.
- Valid DEA registration, American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (CT ACLS), and American Heart Association Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider (CT CPRBLS).
