We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our Neurology and Radiation Oncology team at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our physicians and staff to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Assume clinical responsibility for tasks performed within the Nurse Practitioner's scope of practice, in collaboration with the Chief of Neuro Radiation Oncology and faculty.
- Take patient histories, perform physical examinations, and establish diagnoses and provide care and management for common conditions in Neuro Radiation Oncology adult patients.
- Make appropriate referrals to specialists and community agencies, and participate in quality assurance and quality improvement programs.
- Work within a multidisciplinary team to develop plans for patients and ensure their execution, and attend Neuro Radiation Oncology chart rounds, team meetings, conferences, and lectures as requested.
- See patients and prepare appropriate notes for the EMR under the general supervision of Neuro Radiation Oncology attending physicians.
- Masters in Nursing, graduate of an accredited program for NP.
- 2 years of clinical experience in Oncology.
- Compact state or Arizona RN license (RN), Arizona Advance Practice Nurse license (LIC APN), National Certificate as an nurse practitioner in area of specialty under AZ regulations, Valid DEA registration (DEA), American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (CT ACLS), and American Heart Association Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider (CT CPRBLS).
