Job Description

As a Senior Financial Controller at MiTek Inc, you will play a strategic role in financial analysis, developing budgets, and establishing forecasts to drive operational efficiency and sustainable growth. You will lead and mentor a finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous learning. Your responsibilities will include monitoring financial processes closely, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of reporting, identifying and acting upon cost-saving or financial optimization opportunities, and overseeing controllership function. You will also be responsible for evaluating financial controls to ensure robustness and effectiveness, ensuring compliance with existing key internal controls and process framework, and identifying areas of potential process improvement. Additionally, you will oversee and build regional budgets with departmental and location breakdowns, establish rolling forecasts for regional performance, and develop robust trend analysis from historical data. You will collaborate with Regional Senior Leadership and act as a financial business partner to develop and execute strategies that drive operational efficiency and sustainable growth. You will identify and define KPI's, aligned with business strategy, and provide measurable insights. You will also evaluate and enhance financial systems and processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability, drive automation and integration initiatives to streamline workflows and reduce manual efforts, and provide training and support to finance staff on system usage and best practices. As a leader, you will shape and execute the organization's vision and strategy, lead by example to foster a culture of excellence, accountability, innovation, and inclusiveness across all levels, drive organizational growth and effectiveness to develop and implement high-level initiatives that prioritize diversity and inclusion, and collaborate with peers to ensure seamless integration of inclusive strategies, positioning the organization for long-term success. You will lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning, set clear performance objectives and provide regular feedback and coaching to support individual and team development, promote cross-functional collaboration and knowledge sharing to achieve departmental goals and organizational objectives, and ensure compliance with existing key internal controls and process framework.
