Position Overview

The Town of Stowe is in search of a Technology Manager to lead our technological initiatives and ensure seamless operations.

Key Responsibilities

This role encompasses the management of:

  • Provisioning and monitoring of essential software and hardware systems.
  • Planning and implementation of technology solutions to meet the municipality's needs.
  • Maintenance of communication and computing systems.

The selected candidate will operate independently, showcasing strong communication skills, adept project management capabilities, and effective vendor relationship management.

Desired Skills and Qualifications

We are particularly interested in candidates who possess:

  • Proficiency in various technology tools and cloud-based platforms.
  • Experience in managing help desk services and cyber security.
  • Ability to collaborate with external vendors for radio communication support.

The Town of Stowe is a comprehensive municipality with diverse departments, including Administration, Finance, Human Resources, and Public Safety, among others.

Minimum Qualifications

Applicants should have:

  • An Associate degree in Computer Science or Information Technology (preferred).
  • Three to five years of managerial experience in budgeting, planning, and vendor relations.
  • A combination of education, training, or experience that meets these requirements.

Compensation: The salary range for this position is $73,095 - $86,742, based on experience.
