Regional Operations Manager Position Overview

The position involves providing guidance, mentorship, and strategic oversight to the entire team. Collaborate with the Market Manager to enhance sales, market presence, and profitability. Consistently embody Baskin Robbins values and leadership principles to foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including General Managers, suppliers, customers, and corporate personnel.

Key Accountabilities:

Team Development

+ Advocates for the company's people policies and values by actively demonstrating and reinforcing key drivers to secure commitment from restaurant management and team members.

+ Sets individual performance goals for restaurant management and direct reports, ensuring adherence to performance evaluation processes.

+ Leads initiatives related to performance management systems within Baskin Robbins.

+ Mentors high-potential individuals, emphasizing staffing needs and diversity objectives.

+ Engages in succession planning and participates in talent reviews.

+ Ensures compliance with people practices, including quality hiring, targeted selection, and adherence to HR policies and labor regulations.

Financial Performance

+ Collaborates with the Market Manager and finance team to formulate the annual business strategy for the market, establishing profit center objectives.

+ Responsible for achieving all outlined business plan goals, including sales growth and profitability.

+ Utilizes available data resources to identify opportunities and challenges, adjusting business strategies as necessary.

+ Creates a positive work environment to drive business outcomes, including increased customer traffic and sales.

+ Provides strategic guidance and reviews annual reinvestment plans, including restaurant openings, remodels, and equipment acquisitions.

+ Oversees general and administrative expenses for the restaurants.

+ Ensures adherence to all employment laws and company policies.

Operational Excellence

+ Maintains a strong focus on delivering quality, service, and cleanliness across all locations.

+ Gathers and analyzes business metrics related to sales, staffing, revenue, customer service, and expenditures.

+ Develops solutions to operational challenges and inefficiencies.

+ Assists in crafting strategies to address organizational inefficiencies and maximize returns.

+ Demonstrates exceptional customer service by monitoring restaurant operations, addressing management issues promptly, and recognizing team successes.

+ Supports and develops General Managers to train restaurant teams in executing systems that ensure high operational standards.

+ Conducts operational assessments to identify trends and opportunities, collaborating with restaurant teams to implement improvement plans.

+ Establishes processes and guidelines for General Managers to ensure effective execution of local marketing initiatives, promotions, and new product launches.
