At Space Exploration Technologies Corp., we're pushing the boundaries of space exploration, and we need talented individuals to join our team. As an HVAC Technician, you'll play a critical role in maintaining the comfort and safety of our facilities.
Responsibilities:- Maintain and repair HVAC support equipment on facilities systems, including air handlers, chilled water, condenser pumps, cooling towers, valves, filters, and more.
- Collaborate with engineering and managers to ensure systems are in peak operating condition.
- Follow all regulations and appropriate company procedures, including quality policies, safety policies, and standards.
- Perform ductwork modifications and various repairs.
- Perform brazing, soldering, evacuation, and charging of various refrigerants.
- Perform water piping and insulation modifications and repairs.
- High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
- 3+ years of professional experience working with HVAC, pneumatic, mechanical, or electrical systems.
- Associate degree in HVAC technology or related field.
- Knowledge of HVAC, electrical safety, pneumatic principles, tubing, pipe-fittings, rotating machinery, and mechanical fasteners.
- Universal certification from the Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration Institute (ARI).
- Ability to work all shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed.
- Ability to perform job duties that require standing, kneeling, crouching, twisting upper body, working in cramped positions, and climbing hand over hand.
- Competitive pay range: $29.00/hour - $40.00/hour.
