We are seeking a skilled and experienced Data Center Hardware Specialist to join our team at Brickred Systems. In this role, you will be responsible for testing, assembling, and troubleshooting data center compute and cooling hardware.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute tests on data center compute and cooling hardware to ensure performance and compliance with specifications.
  • Assemble, modify, and build hardware prototypes using physical or theoretical models, including simulations.
  • Monitor hardware performance and adjust equipment as needed.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure seamless interaction between hardware and software systems.
  • Provide technical support and training to system designers and end-users.

Required Skills:

  • Data Center Hardware: Experience with servers, network switches, and power delivery units.
  • Scripting: Familiarity with hardware testing scripts (Python, CLI, SSH, Redfish, Postman).
  • Operating Systems: Proficient with Linux or UNIX-based systems.
  • Circuit Board Rework: Expertise in soldering and working with PCBs.
  • Test Equipment: Skilled in using oscilloscopes, network analyzers, power supplies, and DVMs.
  • Cooling Technologies: Experience with server cooling solutions, including air, liquid, and immersion cooling systems.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 5-7 years of experience in hardware testing, lab work, and working with data center hardware.
  • Hands-on experience with VNA measurements on test boards or engineering validation boards.
  • Strong expertise in hardware assembly, soldering, and troubleshooting.
  • Prior experience working with data center hardware.
