About the Role

We're seeking a skilled Hospital Office Lead to join our team at Texas Health Resources. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our hospital office, ensuring seamless communication with providers, vendors, patients, and service line peers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify patient information, insurance benefits, and eligibility, and accurately file and enter billing for patients into the system.
  • Manually enter charges outside of Epic, creating accounts when necessary and following the registration process.
  • Coordinate copies of medical documentation with physician charges to support billing to third-party payers.
  • Resolve routine patient billing inquiries and problems, handling follow-up questions from patients and resolving discrepancies or errors.
  • Manage day-to-day office operations, providing guidance to the manager in resolving operational issues and assisting with ensuring appropriate coverage and new hire training processes.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
  • 2 Years Relevant Billing experience preferred.
  • 2 Years Medical/General Office experience preferred.
  • Billing and Coding experience preferred.
  • Familiar with Excel and Power Point preferred.
  • Good Customer Service skills (phone and written communication) preferred.
