About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Medical Office Representative to join our team at US Radiology Specialists. As a Medical Office Representative, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical front office, providing exceptional patient care and support to our patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Schedule patients for diagnostic exams and procedures, ensuring accurate and timely scheduling.
  • Authorization and Verification: Assist with authorization and verification processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Patient Check-In and Check-Out: Check in and check out patients, ensuring accurate and complete information is collected and processed.
  • Phone and Communication: Answer multiple phone lines, respond to patient inquiries, and provide accurate and complete information to billing office.
  • Insurance Verification: Verify patient insurance coverage, ensuring accurate and complete information is collected and processed.
  • Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Ensure accuracy of patient data entered into system, process requests and filing of patient records.
Requirements
  • Experience: 1-4 years of experience in a medical office setting or hospital.
  • Authorization and Insurance Verification: Experience in authorizations and insurance verification is required.
  • Customer Service and Computer Skills: Strong customer service and computer skills are essential.
  • Multi-Tasking and Medical Terminology: Ability to multi-task and possess medical terminology knowledge.
  • Insurance Verification Experience: Experience in insurance verification is required.
  • Medical Assistant Certification: Medical Assistant Certification is a plus.
  • Bilingual: Bilingual is a plus.
