Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Project Engineer to join our team at Johnson, Mirmiran, and Thompson Inc. As a key member of our MEP Practice, you will be responsible for managing the delivery of mechanical engineering designs, providing technical guidance, and overseeing project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform engineering calculations and assessments to determine best practice mechanical design solutions
  • Conduct field investigations, HVAC load studies, energy modeling, and code reviews
  • Supervise the production of mechanical design documents and oversee quality control
  • Coordinate project designs with client specifications and local, city, and state code requirements
  • Participate in business development activities, including proposal writing and client engagement

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Previous experience designing HVAC systems and specifying mechanical systems
  • PE licensure and commissioning certification are a plus
