Assistant Professor of Educational Evaluation

We are seeking a highly qualified individual to join our team as an Assistant or Associate Professor of Evaluation in Education. The successful candidate will have a strong background in program or policy evaluation, teaching experience, and a research agenda that advances evaluation theory and practice.
Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will have a record of conducting funded evaluations, expertise in qualitative, quantitative, or mixed methods, and an active agenda of research and publications that advances evaluation theory and practice. The responsibilities of this position include:
- Teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in evaluation and research methods
- Advising and mentoring graduate students
- Serving and chairing PhD dissertations
- Maintaining an active research program combining program or policy evaluations, and research in areas of theoretical or methodological interest
Qualifications
The minimum qualifications for this position include:
- Earned doctoral degree in Evaluation, Research Methods, or related areas and disciplines
- Relevant experience leading or participating in program or policy evaluations in Education
- An active research agenda, record of publications, and/or funding activity
Preferred Qualifications
The preferred qualifications for this position include:
- Demonstrated interest in evaluation as a multi-disciplinary field of applied research
- Experience teaching graduate or undergraduate courses in evaluation and research methods
- Demonstrated expertise and scholarly interest in specific methodologies as they apply to program/policy evaluation
- Demonstrated expertise in culturally responsive, cross-cultural, comparative, or critical frameworks and theories as they relate to program/policy evaluation
- Experience collaborating with researchers across disciplines and methodologies
- Experience in curriculum development around evaluation or methodology
- Experience teaching and mentoring students in EdD programs for education professionals
