Job Title: Sociology Professor

Courseadvisor is seeking a highly qualified Sociology Professor to join our team. As a Sociology Professor, you will be responsible for teaching courses in sociology, evaluating and grading student work, and conducting research in the field.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach courses in sociology, including both theoretical and applied aspects of the field.
  • Evaluate and grade student work, including assignments, papers, and exams.
  • Conduct research in sociology, including data collection, analysis, and publication of findings.
  • Develop and implement curriculum for sociology courses, including syllabi, lesson plans, and assessments.
  • Supervise undergraduate or graduate teaching, internship, and research work.
Requirements:
  • Ph.D. in Sociology or related field.
  • Experience teaching sociology courses at the undergraduate or graduate level.
  • Strong research background in sociology, including publication of research findings.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with curriculum development and implementation.
  • Knowledge of educational technology and its applications in the classroom.
  • Ability to work with diverse student populations.
