Job Summary
The University of Southern California (USC) is seeking a full-time faculty member for the position of Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor of Pediatrics (Clinician Educator) in the Department of Pediatrics at the Keck School of Medicine. The successful candidate will contribute to pediatric resident and neonatal-perinatal fellow education, provide clinical service in the Newborn and Infant Critical Care Unit, and participate in patient-oriented, educational, QI/PI or outcome research.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to pediatric resident and neonatal-perinatal fellow education
- Provide clinical service in the Newborn and Infant Critical Care Unit
- Participate in patient-oriented, educational, QI/PI or outcome research
- Collaborate with faculty members to develop and implement educational programs
- Contribute to the development of clinical policies and procedures
Requirements
- Must hold an MD or DO degree
- Board certified in Pediatrics
- Board certified/eligible in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine
- Desirable qualifications: clinical experience in clinical neonatology, strength in teaching, experience in patient-oriented, educational, QI/PI or outcome research, strong oral and written communication/interpersonal skills
