HVAC Controls Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled HVAC Controls Specialist to join our team at Johnson Controls. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, commissioning, and servicing building automation systems and energy management systems.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct preventive maintenance, repair, installation, and commissioning of building automation systems and energy management systems.
- Diagnose and repair complex control systems malfunctions requiring extensive knowledge of electronic or digital controls systems.
- Consult with customers to provide field proposals for retrofits, upgrades, and enhancements to existing equipment.
- Assist sales by providing technical recommendations for sales leads.
- Manage assigned work to meet professional and efficient execution of time and customer satisfaction.
- Communicate with customers upon arrival and before leaving the work site to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Provide training to customers on control systems operations and deliver manuals and documentation as required.
- Compile job documentation, such as certificates of completion, customer training forms, and punch lists.
- Vocational School four-year program graduate, an Associate's degree in a technical field, or two years' experience in servicing electronic and/or mechanical systems.
- Demonstrated ability to install and/or service electronic control systems and HVAC equipment.
- Effective communication skills to represent Johnson Controls on customer sites.
- Possesses the ability to explain technical information to technical and non-technical people.
- Demonstrate effective writing skills as well as understanding of programs and software applications.
- Knowledge of control theory, automatic temperature controls, building automation systems, and other building subsystems.
- Competitive hourly rate: $38.27-$57.40/hr (determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data).
