Medical Care Specialist

Job Summary
Helio Health is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team on a per diem basis. As a member of our multi-disciplinary treatment team, you will work in various clinical settings providing medical and counseling services to support the mission of Helio Health.
Responsibilities
- Provide medical and counseling services in a variety of clinical settings.
- Monitor and document clients' medical status, signs and symptoms of withdrawal, and report to supervisor or medical director.
- Work with other medical staff for continuity of clients' medical care.
- Communicate with clinical staff regarding clients' medical concerns.
- Provide direct client care, including medical assessment, implementation of medical orders, communicable and infectious disease reporting, and public health and screening protocols.
Qualifications
- Must be a licensed practical nurse currently registered by the New York State Education Department.
- Experience and/or training in the treatment of substance abuse and/or substance dependency preferred.
- Basic computer skills required.

Compensation
Salary and hourly compensation ranges are provided in accordance with NYS law and are based on Helio Health's good faith belief of what is accurate at the time of posting.
