Role Overview:
Join us in shaping the future by working with the most advanced radar systems in the industry. Northrop Grumman's Mission Systems Sector Test Engineering organization is in search of a Senior Principal Antenna Test Software Engineer to play a vital role in our Test Engineering Team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and test software architecture related to phased array testing.
- Create software solutions for automating testing processes and data analysis.
- Lead teams in the development of test software across various projects.
- Define software requirements aligned with product testing needs.
- Formulate test plans and oversee software integration activities.
- Provide support for production testing and spearhead troubleshooting efforts.
- Collaborate with design engineers to enhance hardware and testing processes.
- Maintain a focus on cost, schedule, and quality while adhering to Northrop Grumman policies and procedures.

Basic Qualifications for Principal Antenna Test Software Engineer:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related STEM field with 5 years of relevant experience; 3 years with a Master's degree.
- Professional experience in software development using languages such as C++, Python, MATLAB, etc.
- Experience in software architecture.
- Leadership experience guiding software teams through development projects.
- Familiarity with electrical and/or RF test equipment, including oscilloscopes, power meters, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, etc.
- Current, active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Clearance with the capability to obtain a Special Access Program (SAP) clearance.
- U.S. citizenship.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in software development for RF and antenna systems.
- Experience in test software development in a near-field antenna range.
- Experience in RF testing and/or antenna testing/range operations.
- Familiarity with RF and antenna theory.
