Job Summary

Northrop Grumman's Mission Systems Sector is seeking a highly skilled Senior Principal Antenna Systems Engineer to join our Test Engineering Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing advanced antenna test equipment, integrating new technologies, and troubleshooting complex RF issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop antenna test equipment, including phased array testing and software development for automating test processes and data analysis.
  • Integrate new equipment and programs in a state-of-the-art facility, ensuring seamless operation and high-quality results.
  • Collaborate with design engineering to improve hardware and test procedures, maintaining sensitivity to cost, schedule, and quality.
  • Support technicians with troubleshooting and training, ensuring efficient and effective test operations.
  • Analyze test data to identify trends and areas for improvement, contributing to the development of root cause and corrective actions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM discipline, plus 9 years of relevant experience, or Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM discipline, plus 7 years of relevant experience.
  • Professional software development experience using languages such as C++, Python, MATLAB, etc.
  • Current, active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain a Special Access Program (SAP) clearance.
  • U.S. citizenship.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Software development experience with RF and antenna systems.
  • Test development experience in a nearfield antenna range.
  • RF test experience and/or antenna test/range experience.
  • Familiarity with RF and antenna theory.
