Position Summary
We are in search of a Critical Care Registered Nurse to ensure the delivery of high-quality, efficient care to all patients.

Key Responsibilities:
The Registered Nurse will deliver and coordinate care for patients. This role involves collaboration with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to provide both physical and emotional support to patients and their families.

Daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Conducting assessments and reassessments
  • Developing personalized care plans
  • Administering medications
  • Documenting patient information
  • Educating patients and families
  • Maintaining equipment
  • Communicating patient needs effectively

Specific Duties:
- Administer prescribed medications, change dressings, clean wounds, and monitor vital signs.
- Provide respiratory care, ventilator management, and patient monitoring.
- Act as the primary coordinator for all disciplines involved in patient care.
- Monitor, document, and communicate patient conditions using computerized systems.
- Assess and coordinate discharge planning needs with healthcare team members.

Qualifications:
- RN licensure from the Tennessee Board of Nursing or a compact state.
- A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- BLS certification required.
- ACLS certification must be obtained within six months of hire or transfer from a non-ICU area.
- Specialty certification is preferred.
- One to two years of clinical nursing experience is preferred, with ICU experience being an advantage.
