As a Registered Nurse, you will deliver and coordinate care for patients in critical condition. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting assessments and reassessments.
- Developing personalized care plans.
- Administering medications and documenting patient progress.
- Educating patients and families on care procedures.
- Maintaining equipment and ensuring proper communication of patient needs.
In this role, you will:
- Administer prescribed medications, change dressings, clean wounds, and monitor vital signs.
- Provide respiratory care and ventilator management.
- Act as the primary coordinator for multidisciplinary patient care.
- Utilize computerized documentation systems to monitor and communicate patient conditions.
- Assess and coordinate discharge planning needs with the healthcare team.
Qualifications:
- Active RN licensure by the Tennessee Board of Nursing or a compact state.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- BLS certification required.
- ACLS certification must be obtained within six months of hire or transfer from a non-ICU area.
- Specialty certification is preferred.
- One to two years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- ICU experience is advantageous.
