Role Responsibilities and Qualifications

As a Critical Care Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in patient care.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring, documenting, and reporting changes in patients' health status while maintaining thorough and accurate records.
  • Ordering, interpreting, and evaluating diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
  • Demonstrating knowledge of human development and the appropriate care for patients across various age groups.
  • Promoting customer service initiatives within the hospital.
  • Utilizing the nursing process to provide individualized care tailored to patient needs.
  • Performing technical skills and procedures with proficiency.

Required qualifications include:

  • Current RN licensure from the appropriate Board of Nursing.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications within the first year of employment.
  • Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) training within six months of employment.
  • A minimum of six months of nursing experience.
