Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning: Establishes the TruHealth strategic operating plan in collaboration with the Vice President of American Health Partners, based on a thorough assessment of the organization's leadership, growth opportunities, quality care outcomes, and fiscal data.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Provides leadership to TruHealth team members in a manner that supports a positive and professional image, emulating the organization's mission statement on a daily basis. Creates an environment that values the contribution of each employee and encourages a spirit of cooperation and teamwork to achieve company goals.
  • Business Development: Sets goals for and oversees the ongoing growth of customer sites and recruiting of nurse practitioners, physician assistants, RN case managers, and administrative staff.
  • Financial Management: Develops, implements, and monitors the TruHealth Operating Budget, ensuring compliance with financial targets.
  • Quality Improvement: Collects and analyzes Quality Indicator and Quality Management Data to assess the outcomes of NP interventions, providing direction and support for improvement.
  • Care Coordination: Ensures coordination of care and appropriate cost-effective services are provided by the clinical team, emphasizing the interaction and communication among patients, healthcare providers, case managers, and other allied health professionals.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitors performance of and oversees TruHealth Clinical Supervisory personnel, making regular visits to customer Centers to monitor NP performance and Center Relations.
  • Education and Support: Coordinates and directs education and support through internal and external resources.
  • Quality Management: Coordinates regular Quality Management meetings, ensuring a comprehensive review of company operations and improvement plans.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensures that all OSHA and safety standards are followed, as applicable to the position and in the business location or workplace, in accordance with state and federal regulations and TruHealth policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Leadership and Management: Ability to lead and motivate professionals to achieve results.
  • Business Acumen: Ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures necessary for providing quality care and maintaining a sound business operation.
  • Critical Thinking: Ability to apply critical thinking to a variety of situations, assess business objectives, develop, implement, and monitor effective business plans for improvement.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Possess knowledge of regulations and guidelines pertaining to healthcare.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work harmoniously with and supervise other personnel, develop/maintain good personnel relations, and employee morale.
  • Decision-Making and Problem-Solving: Ability to make independent decisions, follow instructions, and accept constructive feedback.
  • Public Speaking and Presentation: Ability to read, interpret, and analyze applicable financial records and reports.
  • Computer Skills: Sufficient computer skills required to perform duties.
  • Travel Requirements: 75% travel required.
